Hainanese Chicken Rice (China)
Whole chicken is poached, the chicken stock is used to cook rice, serve with ginger and spring onion and sliced chicken.
Nasi Goreng (Malaysia)
Overnight rice is stir fried with minced pork or chicken, along with garlic, shallots and sweet soy sauce.
Teriyaki Donburi (Japan)
A Japanese rice bowl with seared teriyaki marinated steak, salmon or eel, pickles and teriyaki glaze.
Bibimbap (Korea)
Fragrant rice is served with mixed meats, vegetables, bibimbap sauce and a raw egg yoke to mix in.
Pad Kaprow (Thailand)
Chicken or pork mince is stir fried with Thai holy basil and oyster sauce. Serve with crispy fried egg on top.

RICE
Rice is the major staple for most SE Asian countries, so its no surprise so see so many different rice dishes.
These 'one bowl' meals feature plainly cooked rice with meat or seafood with vegetables cooked in sauce. These are usually eaten at lunch or as a quick informal dinner.
Fried rice only usually happens when you have left over rice and meat from the night before to use up. You would never make fried rice from freshly made rice.
